Chocolate Chip Bread Pudding With Cinnamon-raisin Sauce

Total Time: 1 hr 20 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 1 hr

Ingredients

  • Servings: 12
  • 1 lb loaf brioche bread (* with crust, cut into 1-inch cubes) or 1 lb egg bread (* with crust, cut into 1-inch cubes)
  • 10 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 2 1/2 cups half-and-half
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 6 large eggs
  • 4 large egg yolks
  • 2 tablespoons vanilla extract
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons packed dark brown sugar
  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup packed dark brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup dark rum
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 350°f
  • 2 butter 13x9x2-inch glass baking dish.
  • 3 place bread in large bowl; pour 8 tablespoons melted butter over bread and toss to coat.
  • 4 add chocolate chips and toss to combine.
  • 5 transfer mixture to prepared dish.
  • 6 whisk half and half, 1 cup sugar, eggs, egg yolks, vanilla extract, and salt in large bowl to blend.
  • 7 pour over bread cubes in dish.

Cinnamon Chip Walnut Bread

  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 1 egg
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 3 tablespoons powdered milk
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 tablespoon yeast
  • 4 cups flour

Cinnamon Caramel Coffee

  • 8 ounces cold strong brewed coffee, cinnamon, cold, strong, brewed
  • 1/8-1/4 cup caramel sauce (to taste)
  • 1/4 cup 1% low-fat milk, 1%, cold
  • 4 ice cubes, plain
  • 4 coffee ice cubes, coffee
  • 3 ounces heavy cream (whipping cream)
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon caramel sauce
  • 1 teaspoon caramel sauce (garnish, for drizzling)
  • 1 cinnamon stick, for stirring

  • 1 make the cinnamon flavored coffee.
  • 2 pour the hot coffee into a container, add the caramel sauce and stir until all the sauce has dissolved.

Cinnamon Carrot Sticks

  • 2 -2 1/2 lbs carrots, peeled & cut into 3-inch sticks slightly thicker than a pencil
  • 2 1/2 cups water
  • 1/2 cup cider vinegar
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cinnamon stick

Recipe

  • 1 place carrots in large pan with water & boil, covered, until just tender, about 7-10 minutes.
  • 2 remove carrots to a bowl & keep the liquid in the large pan.
  • 3 to the carrot liquid add cider vinegar, sugar & cinnamon, then bring to boil.
  • 4 pour hot liquid over carrots & let cool.
  • 5 cover & chill overnight or as long as 2 1/2 weeks, before serving.

Chicken And Squash Tagine

  • 1 broiler-fryer chicken, cut into serving sizes
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 (14 ounce) can low sodium chicken broth, divided
  • 2 cups chopped onions
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 small jalapeno pepper, minced (i used 2)
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 1/2 lbs butternut squash, peeled, seeded and cut into 1 inch chunks
  • 1/3 cup chopped dried apricot
  • 1/3 cup minced fresh parsley, divided
  • 1/4 cup sliced almonds

  • 1 pour olive oil in dutch oven or large saucepan & heat over medium high heat. sprinkle chicken pieces with salt and pepper, add half to the pot and cook about 6 minutes, turning, to brown. remove and repeat with remaining chicken; set chicken aside.
  • 2 to pan, add 1/4 cup of the chicken broth; scrape to loosen brown bits. add onion and saute until soft. add garlic, jalapeno pepper, cinnamon and ginger. cook, stirring, 1 minute.
  • 3 add squash, apricots, remaining broth and 2 tablespoons of the minced parsley.
  • 4 bring to a boil; return chicken to pot, cover and reduce heat.

  • 2 cups rice
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 (12 ounce) can evaporated milk
  • 1 (14 ounce) can condensed milk
  • 1 (14 ounce) can coconut milk
  • 1/2 cup shredded coconut
  • 2 tablespoons vanilla extract
  • 1 pinch nutmeg
  • 1 teaspoon ginger
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1/2 cup raisins
  • 6 cloves
  • 1 pinch cinnamon

Recipe

  • 1 first it is recommended that you soak the rice in water for at least 3 hours before cooking so that it can soften up. after it has been soaking for a bit remove the water and begin to cook it.
  • 2 in a heavy saucepan over med heat, bring the rice and water to a boil.
  • 3 lower the heat to simmer (low), add the cloves and cinnamon stick. stir.
  • 4 let this cook (uncovered) until the water has evaporated ( 8 - 15 minutes ).
  • 5 add the remaining ingredients (except the pinch of cinnamon), stir gently once, and again let simmer (uncovered) until all liquid has evaporated.

  • 1 cup margarine, softened
  • 2 (3 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/3 cups cinnamon baking chips (hershey)

Recipe

  • 1 beat butter and cream cheese in large bowl until well blended; stir in flour and sugar. cover; refrigerate 1 hour.
  • 2 divide dough into 4 equal parts. shape each in 12 smooth balls. place each ball into a small muffin cup (1 3/4 in diameter); press evenly on bottom and up side of each cup to form small dough cups.
  • 3 heat oven to 375°f beat eggs in small bowl. add sweetened condensed milk and vanilla; mix well. place 7 cinnamon chips in bottom of each cookie dough cup; fill a generous 3/4 full with sweetened condensed milk mixture.

  • 1 sift sugar and flour into a large bowl.
  • 2 in a saucepan, mix 1/2 cup margarine, shortening, 4 tablespoons cocoa, and water. bring to a rapid boil.

  • 1 1/2 cups butter, softened
  • 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons cinnamon
  • 1 cup whipping cream
  • 3 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2 cups sour cream
  • 1/2 cup grated semisweet chocolate
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • chocolate curls (to garnish)

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 375°f.
  • 2 line three 9 inch cake pans with parchment paper. set aside.
  • 3 in a large bowl, beat 1-1/2 cups butter with 1-1/2 cups sugar until light and fluffy. beat in eggs one at a time.
  • 4 in a medium bowl, stir together the flour and cinnamon. stir this mixture into the butter/sugar mixture with a wooden spoon.

  • 16 to freeze: freeze on a cardboard cake circle you can purchase at a baking supply store. layer as above and then insert a few toothpicks in the top to hold the plastic wrap off the top of the torte.
  • 17 wrap in plastic and then in foil. label and freezer for up to 2 months.
  • 18 to serve:.
  • 19 thaw on counter for 1 hour before serving. unwrap, remove toothpicks and garnish with the chocolate curls.
  • 20 to make chocolate curls: run a vegetable peeler over a brick of chocolate and pieces will "curl" off the peeler.

Cinnamon Cider Martinis

  • 1 (375 ml) bottle vodka
  • apple cider

  • 2 grease or paper line 12 muffin cups.

  • 3 mix remaining ingredients in a bowl. if salad is too dry, add a little wine vinegar or more lemon juice.

  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla

  • 1 preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • 2 place a 9"x13" pan half filled with hot tap water on lower rack of oven.

  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 cup cinnamon baking chips
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 3/4 cup buttermilk
  • cinnamon sugar

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 375°f
  • 2 combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and sugar in mixing bowl. add butter slowly, mixing well.
  • 3 in a seperate bowl, combine egg yolk, vanilla, and buttermilk. add to dry ingredients, mixing completely. stir in cinnamon chips.
  • 4 on a floured surface, roll out dough (with hands only) to 1/2" thickness. cut into scones, place on ungreased cooking sheet. brush egg over scones and sprinkle cinnamon sugar over scones. bake 18 minutes.
  • 5 cool scones 5 minutes, move to plate and cover until completely cool.

Cinnamon Chip Applesauce Coffee Cake

Cinnamon Chicken

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 1/2 cups apple juice (or half juice and half sherry wine)
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice, freshly squeezed
  • 1 tablespoon garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper
  • 3 lbs chicken pieces (8 pieces total)
  • 2 tablespoons canola oil, approximately
  • 1 lemon, for garnish, cut into wedges

Recipe

  • 1 combine juice, honey, lemon juice, garlic, seasonings in a large ziptop container.
  • 2 add chicken pieces, seal bag, shake to coat well and let marinade in the refrigerator for 8 hours or overnight.
  • 3 heat oven to 350°f and have ready a large roasting pan, 9" x 13".
  • 4 remove chicken from the marinade, shake off the excess and set chicken aside on a plate.
  • 5 pour marinade into a small saucepan and bring to a boil, reduce heat to medium and boil until it has reduced to 1 cup and has begun to thicken (about 10-15 minutes).
  • 6 heat oil in a skillet and brown chicken parts over fairly high heat just a few minutes per side, lowering heat if needed to prevent from charring- you want the chicken to be evenly browned, but not fully cooked yet.
  • 7 place chicken in the roasting pan and pour the reduced marinade on top.
  • 8 bake 30-55 minutes, or until chicken is fully cooked and no no longer pink (will vary based on the chicken pieces you use).
  • 9 skim fat from the pan juices and serve juices as a dipping sauce if you like.
  • 10 garnish with lemon wedges.

  • 1/4 cup chocolate piece
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1/3 cup milk

  • 1 pre-heat oven to 375.
  • 2 in a bowl mix the brown sugar, cinnamon and chocolate and set it aside.

  • 4 add the egg and milk and beat until light and fluffy.
  • 5 add dry ingredients and blend well.
  • 6 place paper cups in a muffin tin and add 1/2 a scoop of the dough to the bottom of each cup.
  • 7 then spoon some of the cinnamon sugar on top.
  • 8 top that with more dough.
  • 9 (you're putting the cinnamon chocolate mixture in the middle of your muffins.) bake for 15- 2o minutes and enjoy.

Cinnamon Caramel Sauce

Total Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 3 tablespoons hot water
  • 2/3 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Recipe

  • 1 place sugar and hot water in a heavy saucpan and stir with a wooden spoon to mix.
  • 2 cover and place on high heat and bring to a boil.
  • 3 boil until clear, about 1 minute. using a natural bristle pastry brush (dipped in cold water) wash any sugar crystals down from the side of the pan.
  • 4 uncover saucepan and let cook until thick and deep golden brown, about 5-8 minutes. do not stir while cooking. shake pan gently if needed to cook sugar evenly.
  • 5 remove pan from heat and add cream and cinnamon. stand back- it will bubble and hiss. return pan to heat and simmer until thick and creamy, about 3 minutes, stirring with a wooden spoon.
  • 6 cool to room temperature before serving.
  • 7 refridgerate, covered, for up to 3 weeks. warm up to room temperature before serving.

Cinnamon Chip Filled Crescents

Cinnamon Coffee Shake

  • 1 cup brewed coffee
  • 2 scoops vanilla ice cream
  • 2 tablespoons chocolate syrup

Cinnamon Chip Scone

  • 3 1/4 cups flour
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 2 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon

  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1/2 cup cinnamon baking chips
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 2 tablespoons sugar

Recipe

  • 1 mix flour, brown sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and baking soda together.
  • 2 cut in the butter. i only used 1 stick of butter myself. the first time i made this i used 3 different kinds of measuring cups; don't do that, lol, it didn't work, lol.
  • 3 mix in egg and buttermilk; mix together.
  • 4 add cinnamon baking chips.
  • 5 pat out on bench flour; make round; pat down.
  • 6 brush with melted butter.

Banana Oatmeal Muffins

  • 250 g butter
  • 125 ml icing sugar, sifted
  • 270 g all-purpose flour
  • 7 ml cinnamon
  • 2 ml salt
  • 5 ml vanilla essence

  • 10 ml cinnamon (extra)

Recipe

  • 1 beat together the butter and sugar until light and creamy.
  • 2 sift in the dry ingredients and mix in the vanilla essence.
  • 3 make a large ball and place in the refrigerator in a plastic bag for one hour.
  • 4 roll into little balls (about 24).
  • 5 flatten slightly with a fork.
  • 6 bake for 15 minutes at 200°c.
  • 7 mix together the extra sugar and cinnamon and roll the hot cookies in this mixture.

  • 8 sprinkle 1/3 over batter.
