Cinnamon Chunkies

Total Time: 40 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 20
  • 1 1/2 cups sifted flour
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup sugar, divided
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup butter, softened (1/2 stick)
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 350°f mix flour, baking powder and salt; set aside.
  • 2 beat eggs in large bowl with electric mixer on medium speed.
  • 3 add 2/3 cup of the sugar; beat until light and fluffy.
  • 4 add vanilla.
  • 5 add flour mixture, beating just enough to blend in flour.
  • 6 spread batter in greased 13x9-inch pan.
  • 7 beat butter, remaining 1/3 cup sugar and cinnamon in medium bowl until light and fluffy.
  • 8 drop on top of batter; swirl into batter.
  • 9 bake 25 to 30 minutes.
  • 10 cool in pan on wire rack then cut into 20 bars, 2 1/2x3-inch each.
