Cinnamon Chunkies

Ingredients

- 1 1/2 cups sifted flour
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup sugar, divided
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup butter, softened (1/2 stick)
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 350°f mix flour, baking powder and salt; set aside.
- 2 beat eggs in large bowl with electric mixer on medium speed.
- 3 add 2/3 cup of the sugar; beat until light and fluffy.
- 4 add vanilla.
- 5 add flour mixture, beating just enough to blend in flour.
- 6 spread batter in greased 13x9-inch pan.
- 7 beat butter, remaining 1/3 cup sugar and cinnamon in medium bowl until light and fluffy.
- 8 drop on top of batter; swirl into batter.
- 9 bake 25 to 30 minutes.
- 10 cool in pan on wire rack then cut into 20 bars, 2 1/2x3-inch each.
