Caramel Crunch

Ingredients

- 28 vanilla caramels
- 2 tablespoons water
- 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 4 cups green apples, peeled and sliced
- 1 unbaked 9-inch pie shell
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup pecans, chopped
Recipe
- 1 melt caramels with water in double boiler until smooth.
- 2 layer apples and sauce in pie shell.
- 3 combine flour, sugar and cinnamon.
- 4 cut in butter until crumbly.
- 5 stir in nuts.
- 6 sprinkle over top of pie.
- 7 bake at 375 degrees for 50-60 minutes or until apples are tender.
