Cardamom Cookies

Total Time: 40 mins Preparation Time: 30 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter, at room temperature
  • 2/3 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon dark molasses
  • 2 cups flour
  • 3/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 tablespoon ground cardamom
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

Recipe

  • 1 in a large bowl, with mixer on medium speed, beat butter and sugar until smooth.
  • 2 add molasses and beat until well blended.
  • 3 in a medium bowl, mix flour, soda, cardamom, and cinnamon, stir or beat into butter mixture until well blended.
  • 4 cover bowl with plastic wrap and chill until dough is firm, about 1 hour.
