Ingredients
- 1/8 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1/8 cup lime juice
- 1/2 tablespoon garlic
- 1/2 tablespoon chili powder
- 2 teaspoons ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 tablespoon sea salt
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves or 1/4 teaspoon allspice or 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon or 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 bay leaf
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1 teaspoon tabasco sauce
- 2 lbs lamb shoulder
Recipe
- 1 mix all ingredients in a 12" sauté pan.
- 2 cover, set on the lowest heat on the smallest burner for 1 hour.
- 3 flip lamb, braise for another hour.
- 4 flip lamb, uncover, and braise for a 3rd hour.
- 5 shred lamb in pan on the burner in all of it's juices.
