Ingredients
- 8 medium tart apples, peeled and quartered.
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup red-hot candies
Recipe
- 1 place apples and water in a 5qt.
- 2 saucepan.
- 3 cover and cook over med-low heat for 20 minutes or until apples are tender.
- 4 add sugar and candies.
- 5 cook, uncovered, until sugar and candies are dissolved.
- 6 remove from the heat and cool.
- 7 serve slightly warm, or chilled.
