Christmas, Holiday (or Anytime) Wassail

Total Time: 20 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 10
  • 500 -750 ml port wine (3/4 to 1 full bottle of port)
  • 125 -325 ml red wine (about 1/4 to 1/2 bottle, i used merlot)
  • 2 cups cranberry juice cocktail
  • 1/2 cup sugar (more or less to taste)
  • 1 cup water
  • 6 cinnamon sticks

Recipe

  • 1 add all ingredients in a large saucepan.
  • 2 heat until boils.
  • 3 simmer for 10 minutes at least uncovered.
  • 4 remove cinnamon sticks if you wish or serve with cinnamon sticks in a mug.
  • 5 serve hot/warm.
