Apple Crisp With Butter-praline Topping

Ingredients

- 1 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 6 cups peeled cored and thinly sliced tart apples (about 5 large)
- 1/2 cup raisins
- 1 1/2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, cut into pieces (1/2 stick)
- 1 cup chopped pecans
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- 2 butter 11-inch round pie pan.
- 3 combine 1/2 cup sugar and cinnamon in large bowl.
- 4 mix in apples,raisins and lemon juice; transfer to prepared pie pan.
- 5 combine flour and remaining 1/2 cup sugar in medium bowl.
- 6 cut in butter until mixture resembles fine meal; stir in pecans.
- 7 sprinkle over apples in pan.
- 8 bake until apples are tender and topping is browned, 50 minutes.
- 9 serve warm with ice cream or creme fraiche.
