Apple Crumble Pie

Total Time: 55 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 40 mins

Ingredients

  • 4 cups apples, peeled and sliced
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 1/3 cup all-purpose flour, sifted
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon

Recipe

  • 1 line 9 inch pie plate. arrange apples in pastry, and sprinkle with lemon juice.
  • 2 make crumble topping by blending sugar, flour, butter, and cinnamon together until fat is well distributed. sprinkle over apples.
  • 3 bake at 425°f for 20 minutes. reduce heat to 350°f and bake until apples are tender, about 20 minutes.
