Apple 'n' Oats

Total Time: 18 mins Preparation Time: 3 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 1
  • 1/2 cup apple (peeled, cored, chopped)
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 -2 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/3 cup oatmeal
  • 2/3 cup low-fat milk
  • 2 tablespoons walnuts (chopped) (optional)

Recipe

  • 1 in a small saucepan saute apple in butter for 2-3 minutes or until starting to soften.
  • 2 add cinnamon and brown sugar, stir and simmer one minute.
  • 3 stir in oatmeal, milk and walnuts if desired.
  • 4 stir and cook for 3-5 minutes or until oatmeal is cooked and everything smells good.
  • 5 serve with love.
