Ingredients

- 2 1/2 lbs apples, sliced thin
- 1 cup light brown sugar
- 1/4 cup cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 6 tablespoons melted butter
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- 2 line a cookie sheet with tin foil.
- 3 lightly grease an 8x8 baking dish.
- 4 in a bowl, mix together apples, 1/2 cup brown sugar, cornstarch, lemon juice, vanilla extract, and cinnamon.
- 5 spoon into greased baking dish.
- 6 in a separate bowl, combine remaining ingredients and mix to form a crumbly mixture.
- 7 sprinkle over apples to form topping.
- 8 set baking dish on prepared cookie sheet.
- 9 place in oven and bake for 45 minutes or until juices are bubbly and top is golden.
