- 2 plantains
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/4 cup water
Recipe
- 1 peel, slice and arrange plaintains in baking dish.
- 2 combine all remaining ingredients in saucepan and slow boil until syrupy.
- 3 pour sauce over plaintains.
- 4 bake at 325 until tender, about 30 minutes or so.
- 5 lower heat and keep warm until ready to serve.
