Basic Granola

Ingredients
- Servings: 30
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/2 cup canola oil
- 1/2 cup hot water
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 5 cups quick-cooking oats or 5 cups old fashioned oats
- 1 cup raw sunflower seeds
- 1/2 cup flax seed
- 1 cup sliced almonds
Recipe
- 1 mix together first 7 ingredients (sugar through cinnamon).
- 2 pour over oats; mix.
- 3 allow to soak while adding seeds, nuts, dried fruit, etc.
- 4 mix together and bake in jelly roll pan at 200 degrees for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes.
- 5 store in airtight container in refrigerator.
