Caramel Apple Pie With Cinnamon Graham Crust

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 6 tablespoons melted butter
- 3/4 cup caramel ice cream topping
- 5 large apples, peeled and sliced thinly
- 5 tablespoons butter
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- whipped cream
- remaining caramel topping
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 375.
- 2 in medium bowl, combine crumbs, sugar, cinnamon, and melted butter. mix well and press into 10 inch pie plate.
- 3 bake 6-8 minutes.
- 4 remove from oven and cool completely. pour caramel into shell and refrigerate.
- 5 in a large skillet over medium heat, melt butter and add brown sugar, salt, and cinnamon.
- 6 add apples and stir until apples are covered.
- 7 let simmer for 15-20 minutes with lid on skillet until apples are tender.
- 8 let apples cool and pour them into the pie crust.
- 9 top with whipped cream and drizzle with remaining caramel topping.
