Caramel Apple Pie With Cinnamon Graham Crust

Total Time: 55 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 45 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 6 tablespoons melted butter
  • 3/4 cup caramel ice cream topping
  • 5 large apples, peeled and sliced thinly
  • 5 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • whipped cream
  • remaining caramel topping

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 375.
  • 2 in medium bowl, combine crumbs, sugar, cinnamon, and melted butter. mix well and press into 10 inch pie plate.
  • 3 bake 6-8 minutes.
  • 4 remove from oven and cool completely. pour caramel into shell and refrigerate.
  • 5 in a large skillet over medium heat, melt butter and add brown sugar, salt, and cinnamon.
  • 6 add apples and stir until apples are covered.
  • 7 let simmer for 15-20 minutes with lid on skillet until apples are tender.
  • 8 let apples cool and pour them into the pie crust.
  • 9 top with whipped cream and drizzle with remaining caramel topping.
