Allison's Bread Pudding

Total Time: 1 hr 25 mins Preparation Time: 30 mins Cook Time: 55 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 8
  • 1 (36 count) package rolls (sam's 36 ct dinner rolls they are the ones that are joined together or any other soft yeast roll)
  • 3 cups 2% milk
  • 2 tablespoons vanilla
  • 1 teaspoon allspice
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 3 eggs
  • 3 tablespoons butter (melted)
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 1 liter egg

Recipe

  • 1 cut rolls into bit size pieces, mix milk, cream, and 1 t of the vanilla together and add to bread. mix well. let soak 10-15 minutes. mix sugar, vanilla, eggs, and spices together. combine with bread mixture. mix well. melt butter in 13x9 baking dish, add bread mixture and bake 350 for 45-60 minute.
  • 2 sauce:.
  • 3 cream butter and sugar, then add the vanilla and egg. mix well. place mixture in saucepan and heat until sauce is warm about 5 minute serve over warm pudding. do not try to make this sauce without creaming the butter and sugar it will not work!
