Apple Cranberry Scones

Ingredients
- 2 cups flour
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup butter, chilled
- 1 apple, peeled cored and shredded
- 1/2 dried cranberries
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Recipe
- 1 measure flour, sugar,baking powder,soda,and salt into a large bowl.
- 2 cut in butter until crumbly.
- 3 add shredded apple, cranberries and milk.
- 4 stir to form a soft dough.
- 5 turn dough out onto a lightly floured surface.
- 6 knead gently 8 to 10 times.
- 7 pat into two 6 inch circles.
- 8 brush tops with milk and sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon.
- 9 cut each circle into six pie-shaped wedges.
- 10 place onto greased baking sheet.
- 11 bake at 425 degrees for 15 minutes, or until browned.
- 12 serve warm with butter.
