Cinnammmmmon Bread (cinnamon & Butterscotch)

Total Time: 50 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 35 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 12
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 cups flour
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 2 teaspoons dried yeast granules
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 cup butterscotch chips

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 350 degrees f.
  • 2 grease a 9x13x2-inch pan.
  • 3 shake or mix cinnamon and sugar and set aside.
  • 4 in a large bowl mix the flour, salt, yeast and 1/2 cup of cinnamon sugar mixture.
  • 5 in another smaller bowl, whisk together the water, oil and egg, and stir it into the dry ingredients until smooth.
  • 6 cover and let stand for one hour.
  • 7 mix in the baking powder and butterscotch chips.
  • 8 put the mixture into the baking pan and bake 35 to 40 minutes or until it tests done.
  • 9 the top should be springy and the dough will pull slightly away from the sides of the pan.
  • 10 sprinkle with the remaining cinnamon and sugar mixture.
  • 11 cut into chunks and serve warm.
