Ann's Amish Cinnamon Bread

Ingredients
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 2 cups sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 cups buttermilk
- 4 cups flour
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 2/3 cup sugar
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
Recipe
- 1 cream together the butter, 2 cups of sugar and eggs.
- 2 add milk, flour and baking soda.
- 3 butter and flour 2 loaf pans.
- 4 pour 1/4 of the batter into each loaf pan.
- 5 mix the cinnamon and 2/3 cup of sugar together.
- 6 sprinkle 1/4 of the cinnamon mixture on top of the batter.
- 7 add the remaining batter to each of the pans.
- 8 add the remaining sugar mixture to the top of the batter mixture.
- 9 swirl the batter in each pan with a knife.
- 10 bake at 350 f for 50 - 60 minutes, checking with a toothpick or knife towards the end to come out clean.
- 11 cool 20 minutes in pan - if you can wait that long!
