Blueberry Apple Crisp

Total Time: 40 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 2 1/2 cups blueberries, fresh or frozen
  • 2 1/2 cups apples, peeled and chopped (about 2 or 3 apples)
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour, divided
  • 3 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons uncooked oatmeal
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons soft margarine

Recipe

  • 1 combine the blueberries and the apples in a bowl and sprinkle with about 1 tablespoon of the flour; toss.
  • 2 spoon into 6 custard cups.
  • 3 combine the remaining flour and sugar in a bowl; cut in margarine until mixture is crumbly and resembles coarse meal.
  • 4 add oats, cinnamon and nutmeg.
  • 5 sprinkle flour mixture over the fruit.
  • 6 bake at 400 degrees for about 30 minutes or until bubbly.
  • 7 let stand for 10 minutes.
  • 8 serve warm.
