Cinnamon Biscuits/rolls

Ingredients
- 2 cups sifted all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 3/4 cup buttermilk
- 1/2 cup butter, room temperature
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 -2 teaspoon cinnamon (depending on your taste)
Recipe
- 1 preheat your oven to 400°f
- 2 combine first four ingredients in a mixing bowl and mix well.
- 3 stir in vegetable oil, then buttermilk until just blended. knead the dough on a floured surface until smooth, then roll out into a 15 x 8 inch rectangle. spread butter over the dough.
- 4 combine the sugar and cinnamon, and sprinkle evenly over the dough/butter.
- 5 roll the rectangle, starting from the long side. roll all the way and pinch the seam so it will hold together.
- 6 cut into 1 and 1/2 inch slices. arrange the biscuits in a greased 9 inch round cake pan.
- 7 bake until lightly browned, 15 to 20 minutes.
