Cinnamon Applescotch Cookies

Ingredients

• 1/3 cup shortening
• 1/2 cup sugar
• 1 egg
• 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
• 1/3 cup applesauce
• 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
• 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
• 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
• 1/4 teaspoon salt
• 1 cup butterscotch chips

Recipe

• 1 cream shortening with sugar.
• 2 beat in egg and vanilla;stir in applesauce.
• 3 combine flour,cinnamon,soda and salt.
• 4 stir into creamed mixture;mix in butterscotch chips.
• 5 drop from teaspoon onto greased cookie sheets.
• 6 bake in pre-heated 350°f oven 12- 15 minutes.
