Cinnamon Apples

Total Time: 40 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 25 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 10
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 1 (9 ounce) bag red cinnamon candies
  • 12 granny smith apples
  • 1 cup water

Recipe

  • 1 mix sugar, cinnamon and red hots in a large pot. add the cup water and bring to a boil.
  • 2 peel and core apples, cut in half or thirds and cook in the boiling syrup.
  • 3 arrange apples on a serving platter.
  • 4 cook syrup a little longer to reduce the volume. pour over apples and serve.
