Ingredients
- Servings: 10
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon
- 1 (9 ounce) bag red cinnamon candies
- 12 granny smith apples
- 1 cup water
Recipe
- 1 mix sugar, cinnamon and red hots in a large pot. add the cup water and bring to a boil.
- 2 peel and core apples, cut in half or thirds and cook in the boiling syrup.
- 3 arrange apples on a serving platter.
- 4 cook syrup a little longer to reduce the volume. pour over apples and serve.
