Cinnamon Apple Crisps

Ingredients
- Servings: 8
- 4 cups sliced apples (any kind will do, but tart ones like granny smiths are best. do not peel.)
- 1/2 cup equal sugar substitute
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup flour (general purpose is ok.)
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup margarine (smart balance is the best if you can get it in your area. terrific taste and extremely healthy!)
Recipe
- 1 mix dry ingredients together.
- 2 add margarine.
- 3 blend well with a fork.
- 4 combine apples, sugar, and cinnamon.
- 5 spread across the bottom of an appropriately sized baking dish.
- 6 spread dry ingredients and butter mixture over the apples.
- 7 press it down a bit.
- 8 bake at 350 for 30 to 40 minutes until topping is brown and apples are tender when you stick a fork into them.
