Chocolate Chip Bread Pudding

Ingredients

- 1 (16 ounce) cinnamon-raisin bread
- 3/4 cup semisweet chocolate morsel
- 2 cups half-and-half
- 4 eggs
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- vanilla ice cream (optional)
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 325 degrees.
- 2 coat 8 inch square baking pan with cooking spray.
- 3 diagonally cut bread slices in half to make triangles.
- 4 arrange 1/3 of the bread in bottom of pan slightly overlapping.
- 5 sprinkle with 1/4 cups semi sweet morsels.
- 6 repeat layers with remaining bread and semi sweet morsels, ending with semi sweet morsels.
- 7 whisk half and half with eggs, sugar and vanilla extract.
- 8 evenly pour over bread.
- 9 cover with aluminun foil.
- 10 let sit for 10 minutes.
- 11 bake for 30 minutes.
- 12 remove foil.
- 13 bake for 25 minutes or golden brown.
- 14 let stand 15 minutes before cutting.
- 15 serve with vanilla ice cream.
