Cheese Danish

Total Time: 40 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 24
  • 2 packages crescent rolls
  • 2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • cinnamon and sugar, to sprinkle on top

Recipe

  • 1 grease bottom of 13 x 9 glass baking dish with butter.
  • 2 roll out 1 pkg crescent rolls along bottom of baking dish.
  • 3 mix 2 pkgs cream cheese and 1 cup sugar until well blended.
  • 4 spread mixture over layer of crescent rolls.
  • 5 cover with second pkg of crescent rolls.
  • 6 melt 1 stick butter and pour on top of danish.
  • 7 sprinkle with cinnamon sugar.
  • 8 bake@ 350 for 30 minutes until golden brown on top.
  • 9 let sit about an hour for the cream cheese to set, before serving.
  • 10 i think it is best to make the day before and let it sit in the fridge overnight.
  • 11 pop it in the oven for 15 minutes or so before serving to warm through.
