Butterscotch Maple Cookies

Total Time: 30 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • 10 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 1/2 cups flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • maple syrup

Recipe

  • 1 cream butter and add sugars, salt, soda and cinnamon and blend well.
  • 2 add egg and beat.
  • 3 add flour and stir until mixture forms soft ball.
  • 4 divide dough into three parts.
  • 5 shape each into roll about 2 inches in diameter on waxed paper.
  • 6 wrap and chill until firm.
  • 7 slice 1/4 inch thick and place on greased baking sheets.
  • 8 brush with maple syrup.
  • 9 bake 10 minutes at 375 degrees or until golden brown.
