Banana-nut Muffins (no Processed Sugar)

Ingredients
- 1 3/4 cups flour (i prefer whole wheat)
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/3 olive oil
- 1/2 cup date syrup
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 large mashed ripe banana
- 1/4 cup hot water
- 1/4 cup chopped walnuts or 1/4 cup pecans
Recipe
- 1 mix together dry ingredients in large bowl. in separate bowl, add eggs, oil and date syrup until they are well-blended. add in mashed banana. incorporate the wet ingredients and hot water simultaneously into dry ingredients. gently mix in nuts.
- 2 pour into 12-cup muffin tin and bake in 350 oven for approximately 17 minutes.
