Cinnamon Apples

Total Time: 20 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 8
  • 4 granny smith apples
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground thyme
  • 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 2 teaspoons oil

Recipe

  • 1 core and peel the apples.
  • 2 cut each apple into about 10 wedges.
  • 3 toss the apples with the sugar, cinnamon, thyme, and salt.
  • 4 heat the oil in a non stick skillet.
  • 5 saute the apples over medium high heat for 7-10 minutes, until the apples soften but still retain their shape. add 2 tablespoons of water if softer apples are desired.
