Braised Lamb Chops

Ingredients
- Servings: 4
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1/3 cup cold water
- 4 thick lamb chops
- 3 cups boiling water
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- pepper, to taste
- 1 pinch ground cloves
- 1 pinch cinnamon
Recipe
- 1 mix the flour and water to make a smooth paste.
- 2 in a frying pan, add the lamb chops, water and onion and simmer, covered, for 20 minutes.
- 3 remove chops from the pan. add the flour paste into the stock and cook, stirring constantly until thickened.
- 4 return the meat to the sauce along with the seasoning.
- 5 cook, covered, over a low heat for 1-1/2 hours or until the chops are tender.
