Butter Chicken

Total Time: 35 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 2 teaspoons ginger
  • 1 tablespoon garlic
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 (16 -19 ounce) can diced tomatoes
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 rotisserie-cooked chicken
  • 1/3 cup light cream
  • 1/4 cup light sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon cilantro

Recipe

  • 1 melt butter in skillet.
  • 2 add garlic and onions. fry 2-3 minute.
  • 3 add rest of ingredients down to chicken. simmer on low for 10 minute.
  • 4 add chicken and creams and simmer 5 minute.
  • 5 serve over rice and garnish with cilantro.
