Cinnamon Bun Scones

Ingredients
- 2 cups flour
- 1 cup oats, steel cut
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup butter or 1/2 cup margarine
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 tablespoons cinnamon
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 425.
- 2 mix flour, oats, 1/4 c sugar, baking powder & salt.
- 3 cut butter into small pieces and mix with a pastry blender or fork until mixture is crumbly.
- 4 beat milk, egg, & vanilla together and add to other ingredients.
- 5 spoon batter into a non stick scone pan.
- 6 mix together 2t sugar, and 2t cinnamon, and sprinkle over scones.
- 7 bake 11-13 minutes, or until tops of scones just start to brown.
