Bread For Cinnamon Rolls

Total Time: 4 hrs 30 mins Preparation Time: 4 hrs Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 2 teaspoons yeast
  • 1/2 cup warm water
  • 6 tablespoons lard
  • 2 cups milk, scalded
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 6 cups flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup sugar

Recipe

  • 1 proof yeast in warm water.
  • 2 add lard to hot milk; cool.
  • 3 add yeast mixture.
  • 4 add beaten eggs.
  • 5 stir in flour and salt.
  • 6 let rise until doubled.
  • 7 punch down; let rise again.
  • 8 punch down; roll out and put in pan.
  • 9 that is all that is written in this recipe.
  • 10 bake 350 degrees fahrenheit for 30 minutes, i am guessing. i have cinnamon goop recipes from other old recipes.
