Cinnamon Buttons

Ingredients
- 1 cup butter
- 1 cup ground almonds
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1 2/3 cups flour
- 1/4 cup superfine sugar
- 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
Recipe
- 1 place the butter, almonds, and sugar into a large bowl
- 2 beat with an electric mixer on medium speed or until light and fluffy.
- 3 add the flour.
- 4 mix for 2 minutes, or until completely incorporated.
- 5 cover the dough with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
- 6 preheat the oven to 350 degrees fahrenheit.
- 7 place the superfine sugar and cinnamon into a shallow bowl.
- 8 mix well.
- 9 scoop or roll the cookies into 3/4-inch balls
- 10 place them about 1 inch apart n an ungreased baking sheet
- 11 bake for 20 minutes, or until they just start to brown on the edges.
- 12 cool for about 5 minutes
- 13 roll them in cinnamon sugar.
- 14 cool on parchment or waxed paper.
