Apricot And Cinnamon Kasha

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 large red onion, chopped
  • 1 cup whole dried kasha
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 2 1/2 cups chicken broth or 2 1/2 cups vegetable broth
  • 1/2 cup dried apricot, coarsely chopped
  • salt

Recipe

  • 1 heat oil in a large skillet over medium high heat. add onion, kasha, and cinnamon; sautã© until onion starts to soften, about 3 minutes.
