Ingredients

- 4 apples, peeled cored and sliced
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons apple juice
Recipe
- 1 bring apples, syrup, salt, nutmeg and cinnamon to a simmer and simmer covered until apples are tender 10-15 minutes.
- 2 combine cornstarch and apple juice and add to stewed apples to thicken the sauce.
- 3 serve warm.
