Cheddar Apple Nut Bread

Ingredients
- 2 1/2 cups flour
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1/3 cup butter or 1/3 cup margarine, melted
- 2 cups sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 1/2 cups peeled & chopped apples
- 3/4 cup chopped pecans or 3/4 cup walnuts
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 350.
- 2 grease and flour a 9 x 5-inch loaf pan or spray it with cooking spray.
- 3 in large mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, salt and cinnamon.
- 4 add beaten eggs, milk and margarine; mix well.
- 5 stir in cheese, apples and pecans.
- 6 mixture will be fairly thick; spoon into loaf pan.
- 7 bake at 350 degrees for 60- 70 minutes or until it tests done with wooden pick inserted in center.
- 8 remove from oven and let stand for about 5 minutes.
- 9 invert and remove loaf from pan.
