Candied Pecans

Total Time: 1 hr 5 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 1 hr

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 lb pecan halves
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon water

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 200*.
  • 2 mix dry ingredients (except nuts) in a large bowl.
  • 3 in another large bowl,beat egg with water until frothy.
  • 4 coat pecans with egg mixture and then with sugar mixture.
  • 5 spread on a well greased cookie sheet.
  • 6 bake in oven turning nuts over every 15 minutes.
  • 7 bake for 1 hour or more until toasted being careful not to burn.
