Aunt Ann's Swedish Glug Punch

Ingredients
- 1 gallon muscatel wine
- 1 cup pitted prunes
- 1 cup raisins (dark or light)
- 2 cinnamon sticks
- 10 -15 whole cloves
- 2 oranges, dried peels from
- 1/2 cup almonds, sliced thin
- 2 dozen cardamom seeds
- 10 ounces vodka
Recipe
- 1 put all ingredients (except vodka) into large stainless steel or non reactive pot. bring to a boil, then simmer for 1 (one) hour, stir gently. remove cloves, cinnamon, orange peel and cardamon seeds. add vodka and stir.
- 2 serve slightly warm, if your guest like raisin and/or prunes add a few to each serving. this punch can be reheated.
