Apple, Cheddar, And Bacon Bagels

Ingredients

  • Servings: 2
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 mcintosh apple, peeled and sliced
  • 1 teaspoon light brown sugar
  • 2 cinnamon raisin bagel, split
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 2 tablespoons cream cheese, softened
  • 2 ounces cheddar cheese, sliced
  • 2 slices bacon, cooked crisp and crumbled

Recipe

  • 1 preheat a panini grill to high.
  • 2 in a nonstick skillet, melt 1 t butter over med-high heat.
  • 3 add apple and brown sugar; saute until tender, 3-4 minutes.
  • 4 remove from heat and keep warm.
  • 5 place bagels, cut side down, on a work surface and brush crusts with melted butter.
  • 6 turn bagels over and spread cream cheese evenly on the bottom halves.
  • 7 top evenly with cooked apples, cheddar cheese, and bacon.
  • 8 cover with top halves and press gently to pack.
  • 9 place sandwiches in grill, close top plate and cook until golden brown, 3-4 minutes.
  • 10 serve immediately.
