Cinnamon Crisps

Ingredients
- 1 cup butter or 1 cup margarine, softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 egg, separated
- 2 cups flour
- 1/2 cup very finely chopped nuts
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon water
Recipe
- 1 heat oven to 350.
- 2 lightly grease jelly roll pan.
- 3 beat sugar, butter and egg yolk with spoon.
- 4 mix in flour and cinnamon.
- 5 press into pan.
- 6 beat egg and water with fork until foamy.
- 7 brush over dough and sprinkle with nuts.
- 8 bake 20-25 minutes until light brown.
- 9 immediately cut into rows 8x6.
- 10 cool on wire rack.
