- 5 apples
- 3 1/2 cups water
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon sugar
Recipe
- 1 peel, core, and slice each apple into 8 pieces.
- 2 put apples in saucepan with water, cinnamon, and sugar.
- 3 cover and simmer until apples are tender, about 30 minutes.
- 4 mash and stir every 5 minutes.
- 5 allow applesauce to cool.
