Cinnamon Honey Bars

Ingredients
- 2 cups flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 1/4 teaspoons cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 3/4 cup oil
- 1/4 cup honey, plus
- 2 tablespoons honey, separated
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 cup walnuts, chopped
- 1 cup powdered sugar, sifted
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 tablespoon hot water
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 350º.
- 2 grease 15x10inch baking pan.
- 3 in large bowl, combine flour, sugar, cinnamon, and baking soda.
- 4 add oil, 1/4 cup honey and egg.
- 5 stir until combined.
- 6 stir in walnuts.
- 7 press into prepared pan using waxed paper or hands.
- 8 bake 18-20 minutes or till toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- 9 in small bowl, combine powdered sugar, butter, vanilla, hot water and remaining 2 tbsp honey.
- 10 beat until smooth.
- 11 spread over warm bars.
- 12 cool completely before cutting into bars.
