6 Ingredient Peach Cobbler

Total Time: 45 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 8
  • 1/2 cup butter (not margarine)
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 3/4 cup self rising flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 (28 ounce) can peach slices in heavy syrup (do not drain, reserve 1/2 cup of syrup)
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • add one and a half tsp. baking powder and 1/2 tsp. salt to one cup flour

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • 2 put butter in 13x9 baking dish and place in oven to melt.
  • 3 stir sugar and flour together and mix well.
  • 4 slowly add milk and continue stirring to prevent lumps.
  • 5 remove dish from oven.
  • 6 pour batter directly over butter in baking dish.
  • 7 do not stir!
  • 8 spoon peaches on top of batter.
  • 9 pour reserved syrup over batter.
  • 10 sprinkle cinnamon over top.
  • 11 bake 30-45 minutes or until golden brown.
  • 12 serve warm with vanilla ice cream if desired!
