Breakfast Sausage-market Style

Total Time: 15 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 5 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 2 lbs ground beef
  • 2 teaspoons sea salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground sage
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup warm water
  • 1 teaspoon brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon flour

Recipe

  • 1 mix ground meat, spices and herbs in large bowl.
  • 2 in warm water, add brown sugar and maple syrup, stir to mix well.
  • 3 add to ground meat and mix well.
  • 4 place in refrigerator for 30 minutes to chill.
  • 5 form patties. can use a round egg mold and saucer to make uniform size.
  • 6 fry in heavy skillet on medium heat. brown both sides.
  • 7 pack each patties in plastic wrap and freeze.

  • 12 2 tablespoons cilantro.
  • 13 2 tablespoons fresh chives.
  • 14 1/2 tsp dried basil.
  • 15 1/2 tsp dried oregano.
  • 16 1/2 tsp ground cayenne.
