Ingredients

- 1 cup long grain brown rice
- 1 cup apple juice
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup raisins
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- honey (optional) or maple syrup (optional)
Recipe
- 1 combine all of the ingredients in a saucepan.
- 2 bring to a boil and then cover.
- 3 reduce the heat, and cook for 40 minutes.
- 4 let rest for 10 minutes before serving.
- 5 serve with a drizzle of honey or maple syrup if you like.
- 6 (this may also be made in a slow cooker overnight. combine all of the. ingredients and cook on low for 8 to 10 hours).
