Charmie's Snickerdoodles

Ingredients
- 3 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon cream of tartar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 2 cups sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- cinnamon-sugar mixture
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 375°.
- 2 stir together flour, soda, cream of tartar and salt.
- 3 beat butter for 30 seconds.
- 4 add the 2 cups sugar and beat until fluffy.
- 5 add eggs, milk and vanilla; beat well.
- 6 add dry ingredients to beaten mixture, beating until well blended.
- 7 form dough into 1-inch (or larger) balls - dough will be sticky.
- 8 roll in mixture of cinnamon and sugar.
- 9 place 2-inches apart on greased cooked sheet.
- 10 flatten slightly with bottom of a glass.
- 11 bake at 375° for 8-10 minutes until light golden and just beginning to crack on top.
