Apple-topped Biscuits

Ingredients

- 3 cups sliced peeled tart apples
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon quick-cooking tapioca
- 1 1/2 teaspoons lemon juice
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1 (16 1/3 ounce) package large refrigerated buttermilk biscuits
Recipe
- 1 in a large saucepan, combine the apples, sugar, tapioca, lemon juice, cinnamon, salt and nutmeg.
- 2 let stand for 15 minutes.
- 3 cook over medium heat for 8-10 minutes or until apples are tender.
