Ingredients
- 1/2 lb filberts (hazelnuts)
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 cup margarine
Recipe
- 1 toast filberts in shallow pan at 325, 10 minutes.
- 2 beat egg until foamy.
- 3 add sugar and cinnamon gradually and beat until stiff.
- 4 add nuts and mix well.
- 5 melt margarine in shallow pan.
- 6 spread nut mixture over butter.
- 7 bake at 325 30 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes.
- 8 store in airtight container.
