Cimanum Rolls With Frosting!

Total Time: 25 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 loaf frozen bread dough
  • 4 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup chopped nuts (optional)
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

Recipe

  • 1 on a lightly floured surface, roll dough out to a somewhat rectangle 10"x12".
  • 2 prepare a 12 muffin tin pan with cooking spray.
  • 3 spread dough with about 2 tbs of the melted butter, coat well.
  • 4 mix cinnamon and sugar, setting aside 2 tbs for use later.
  • 5 sprinkle mixture over dough liberally.
  • 6 begin with the longer side and roll like a jelly roll, tightly.
  • 7 cut into 12 pieces.
  • 8 place one spiral into the 12 cavity muffin pan.
  • 9 brush tops with remaining butter and sprinkle with cinnamon.
  • 10 cover and let rolls rise in the fridge overnight until they double. (i didn't do this part. i put them in the oven immediatly and they turned out great.).
  • 11 bake in a 350 degree oven for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  • 12 turn out onto a rack to cool.
  • 13 to frost, mix 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar with 2 tbs milk or cream and 1 tsp vanilla. drizzle onto rolls.
