Ingredients
- Servings: 6
- 2 cups water (or chicken stock)
- 1 cup basmati rice
- 1 whole cinnamon stick (or cassia)
- 4 whole cloves
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Recipe
- 1 bring water to a boil in saucepan. slowly add rice then cinnamon, cloves and cumin.
- 2 cover and reduce to simmer. cook until rice is tender and water is absorbed, about 10- 15 minutes.
- 3 remove from heat. fluff with a fork and serve.
